Filip turned 1

Filip loves balls so we decided to do  a ball themed birthday party for him.  the weather turned out to be great, so we were able to do his party at the park.  we had all sorts of balls there for the kids to play with, including a ball pit for the little ones.

         He got to have his very own ball shaped smash cake.  He absolutely loved it and loved making a mess.

                        
                             Our family and friends spoiled him with such fun toys, books and cute clothes.

Filip's first time at the pool, and he loved it.  He discovered how to sit on the edge and jump off to us.

we let him do a some finger painting with pudding.  he had so much fun with it, and loved eating it even more.

                                                   We went to the Zoo for my birthday. 
                                        Filip loved all the water features in the animal exhibits. 

We decided to go to the new splash pad they built in North Logan.  i was surprised at how well filip did with the water.

Reggie's family came out for a bit during the summer.  We took them to the cache valley fair.  It was Filip's first time as well.  he loved seeing all the animals, and was fascinated by the giant tractors.

summer was a lot of fun and spent doing lots of stuff.  the end has come, so i guess now bring on the cold.

                                                               Memorial Weekend 2013

Memorial weekend was supper fun this year. We decided to take Filip to the local zoo for the first time. He had fun looking at the animals that were big enough for him to see. He did really well being carted around by dad.

On Meorial Day we went and put flowers at the local military monuments.  Sense we did not have any family buried in the area we decided to also put flowers on a few graves at the local cemetary that did not have any.

Thanks to the men and women that serve and to those that gave their lives.

Filip was being a big helper by holding the flowers for us.

That afternoon it was so nice and warm out, we decided to pull out the pool for the first time.  Filip did not like it at first because the water was so cold.  After a while he got used to it and had a blast.

Happy Easter

I'm all about doing lots of activities with the holidays, so we got together with my sister and her kids a few days before Easter and decorated Easter eggs.  Though I know Filip has no idea what is going on and does not care if he participates or not, I love making him do it all anyway.

Rachel's girls were the only ones in her family that wanted to join, they loved it and had fun with all the bold colors.


I have been sending pictures to the grandparents for each holiday.  This is what I came up with for Easter.

He would not stay sitting up long enough for me to take a picture so he ended up laying on the floor.

He loves playing with Easter eggs.

He did not like being in the basket and I could not get him to smile.


Filip was the only one I did an Easter egg hunt for this year.  He loved finding the eggs and trying to grab and pick them up.

Every year for Easter we get a movie, sandals, and I make sure to do an activity type thing in our baskets.  This year we got bubbles.

After Church we decided to head up to first dam and feed the ducks and play with bubbles.

He thought the bubble gun was so cool.

Filip had a hard time giving the ducks the bread, he wanted to eat it instead.
